Globacom Limited is Nigeria’s Second National Operator providing GSM, Fixed, Broadband and Gateway services with subsidiaries in Nigeria, Republic of Benin, Ghana and other West African countries.

The company needs capable professionals who can fill various positions in Glo 1 and Glo Gateway. The positions attract internationally competitive remuneration.

General Qualifications:

o   Relevant university degrees are required for all positions

o   For the technical positions, a degree in Electrical / Electronics or Telecommunications Engineering is preferred, while for non-technical positions, a degree in Economics, Marketing or Business related discipline is Preferred.

o   Relevant post graduate or professional qualification will be an added advantage

Vacancies available:

1. BUSINESS PLANNING AND ANALYSIS MANAGER REF: BPAM

Experience

o   7 – 11 yrs experience in a leading telecoms / ISP company with at least 4 yrs in business planning.

Responsibilities

Include but not restricted to the following:

o   Develop and monitor business plan for new projects, evaluate new venture and business cases and financial viabilities.

o   Develop and monitor Glo1 annual operating plans for all operating markets

o   Design Key Performance Areas (KPA)

o   Undertake market intelligence and research for achieving business objectives in all operating markets

2. HEAD, SALES REF: STDM

Experience

o   15 – 20 yrs experience in handling international data business, selling to global carriers and managing enterprise businesses.

o   Good experience in selling high end data solutions like IPLC, IP Transient, Global MPLS, Data Centers and Video/audio conferencing.

Responsibilities:

Include but not restricted to the following:

o   Drive the global, wholesale and enterprise sales to achieve the business objectives

o   Manage the customer relationship with various global carriers, enterprises and domestic wholesale customers.
