Globacom Limited is Nigeria’s Second National Operator providing GSM, Fixed, Broadband and Gateway services with subsidiaries in Nigeria, Republic of Benin, Ghana and other West African countries.

The company needs capable professionals who can fill various positions in Glo 1 and Glo Gateway. The positions attract internationally competitive remuneration.

General Qualifications:

o   Relevant university degrees are required for all positions

o   For the technical positions, a degree in Electrical / Electronics or Telecommunications Engineering is preferred, while for non-technical positions, a degree in Economics, Marketing or Business related discipline is Preferred.

o   Relevant post graduate or professional qualification will be an added advantage

Vacancies available:

1. GLOBAL SALES MANAGER

a) U.K     REF: GSM/UK

b) USA   REF: GSM/USA

Experience

o   10 – 12 years experience in handling international voice and data business, selling for global carriers in UK, EU &USA.

o   Good experience in selling high end data solutions like IPLC, IP Transient, Global MPLS, Data Centers and Video/Audio conferencing.

Responsibilities

Include but not restricted to the following:

o   Interact daily with various global carriers and enterprises for incoming and outgoing international data traffic from Nigeria and other West African countries.

o   Offer a techno-commercial proposal including schematics and network diagrams. Facilitate signing of interconnect agreement with global carriers of region.

2. HEAD, WiFi SALES

Experience

o   14 – 18 yrs experience in a leading telecoms / ISP company with at least 5 yrs at a senior level

o   Strong relevant technical competencies in WiFi domain

Responsibilities

Include but not restricted to the following:

o   Meeting and exceeding revenue targets as defined in the Annual Operating Plan (AOP)

o   Automate systems relating to billing, revenue accounting, channel commission and revenue realization for the business

o   Coordinate with product teams for timely delivery of product variations required in the market for specific verticals and segments
