Globacom Limited is Nigeria’s Second National Operator providing GSM, Fixed, Broadband and Gateway services with subsidiaries in Nigeria, Republic of Benin, Ghana and other West African countries.

The company needs capable professionals who can fill various positions in Glo 1 and Glo Gateway. The positions attract internationally competitive remuneration.

General Qualifications:

o   Relevant university degrees are required for all positions

o   For the technical positions, a degree in Electrical / Electronics or Telecommunications Engineering is preferred, while for non-technical positions, a degree in Economics, Marketing or Business related discipline is Preferred.

o   Relevant post graduate or professional qualification will be an added advantage

Vacancies available:

1. HEAD, SOLUTIONS & SUPPORT REF: HSS

Experience

o   10 – 14 yrs experience with the last five yrs at a senior level in a leading telecoms / ISP company

o   Strong relevant technical competences in data services solutions at front line and supervisory levels.

Responsibilities

Include but not restricted to the following:

o   Manage and guide the solutions & support team towards its objective of providing technical support to the sales team during the sales process in terms of understanding and identifying the client’s network and requirements to be addressed.

o   Evolve best practices for delivery of business KPIs

2. TECHNICAL SUPPORT EXECUTIVE   REF: TSE/M

Experience

o    3 – 8 yrs data solution building and high level experience in techno commercial proposals and designing connectivity solutions for customers

o   Additional certifications from Ciscon / Nortel / Avaya and Microsoft will be a key advantage

Responsibilities

Include but not restricted to the following:

o   Design network connectivity solutions in consultation with Customer, Glo 1 network team and suppliers

o   Provide technical and commercial support on sales calls
