Globacom (Glo) Nigeria – Vacancies for Billing Manager & Credit Control Manager
Globacom Limited is Nigeria’s Second National Operator providing GSM, Fixed, Broadband and Gateway services with subsidiaries in Nigeria, Republic of Benin, Ghana and other West African countries.
The company needs capable professionals who can fill various positions in Glo 1 and Glo Gateway. The positions attract internationally competitive remuneration.
General Qualifications:
o Relevant university degrees are required for all positions
o For the technical positions, a degree in Electrical / Electronics or Telecommunications Engineering is preferred, while for non-technical positions, a degree in Economics, Marketing or Business related discipline is Preferred.
o Relevant post graduate or professional qualification will be an added advantage
Vacancies available:
1. BILLING AND PAYMENT MANAGER REF: BPM
Experience
o 3 – 6 yrs billing and payment management experience in a leading Telecoms / ISP company
o Good knowledge and exposure of accounting and billing software packages
Responsibilities
Include but not restricted to the following:
o Manage the customer billing process
o Generate recurring invoices for all customers as per their respective billing cycles.
2. CREDIT CONTROL COLLECTIONS MANAGER REF: CCCM
Experience
o 5 – 8 yrs cognate experience in credit control management in a leading telecoms / ISP company
o Good knowledge of and exposure to accounting and billing software packages
Responsibilities
Include but not restricted to the following:
o Manage the collection process of Glo 1 services
o Manage the cycle from the bill dispatch to actual collection and necessary set off against client’s account for payments made
