Job Title: Controller (Groceries, Non Foods, Frozen Foods and Fruit & Vegetables)

As a controller, you will

  • Ensure effective merchandizing of products in your department

  • Plan and analyze work to be done by assistants

  • Assign tasks to assistants for the day and ensure implementation

  • Check and control waste and damages of stock

  • Prepare orders of stock for your department

  • Serve Customers and handle complaints daily

  • Ensure adherence to health and safety and housekeeping standards

  • Ensure that equipment is cleaned


The ideal candidate should possess a minimum of an ordinary diploma. Experience in a retail or service environment is a prerequisite

Job Title: Controller (Bakery)

As a Bakery controller, you will

  • Bake assorted bread, cakes, doughnuts and a wide range of other confectionary

  • Plan and analyze work to be done by assistants

  • Assign tasks to assistants for the day and ensure implementation

  • Check and control waste and damages of stock

  • Prepare orders of stock for your department

  • Serve Customers and handle complaints daily

  • Ensure adherence to health and safety and housekeeping standards

  • Ensure that equipment is cleaned


The ideal candidate should possess a minimum of a diploma in catering management with at least 3 years work experience as a baker or confectioner. Candidates without a diploma but with quality experience in baking in a supervisory capacity can apply

Job Title: Controller (Delicatessen)

As a controller, you will

  • Cook assorted continental and local dishes

  • Plan and analyze work to be done by assistants

  • Assign tasks to assistants for the day and ensure implementation

  • Check and control waste and damages of stock

  • Prepare orders of stock for your department

  • Serve Customers and handle complaints daily

  • Ensure adherence to health and safety and housekeeping standards

  • Ensure that equipment is cleaned


The ideal candidate should possess a minimum of a diploma in catering management with at least 3 years work experience as a caterer. Candidates without a diploma but with quality experience in baking in a supervisory capacity can apply

Job Title: Cash Office Controller

As a Cash Office Controller, you will:

  • Ensure that money received from the tills is accurately processed and banked

  • Plan, assign and check tasks relating to managing and banking of money

  • Assist staff in balancing of trial balances

  • Arrange for till pick- ups and bank collections

  • Take responsibility for money in tills


The ideal candidate must possess a minimum of an ordinary diploma in Banking and Finance, Accounting or other related disciplines.  Computer literacy, accuracy, numerical and mathematical skills are essential

Job Title: Front End Controller

As a Front End Controller, you will:

  • Ensure that cashiers function effectively and that payments from customers are received correctly

  • Check staff availability and plan allocation of cashiers

  • Assist cashiers in cash up’s during the day

  • Do spot checks during the day to ensure payments are received correctly

  • Assist cashiers with customers and handle customer complaints daily


The ideal candidate must possess a minimum of ordinary national diploma in any business discipline and be able to render good customer service

All candidates will need

  • Proven track record in the retail or service industry

  • The ability to plan and organize projects and events from start to finish

  • Effective leadership skills

  • Commitment to hygiene and cleanliness


Successful candidates must be willing to work shifts, during weekends and on public holidays
