RoyalCourt Private School is located on the East – West Road, Port Harcourt, Rivers State, Nigeria and is to be a co-educational (British) National Curriculum Secondary School to commence operations in September 2011. The school offers complete education – intellectual, spiritual, cultural, physical and social. Heads of Faculty (HODs) will include those for Languages, Humanities, Social Science, Sciences including ICT, Mathematics and Creative and Vocational subjects (such as Design & Technology) and Music
Requirements
Potential Candidates must have:
• At least 5 years post-qualification experience (7 years for HODs) in a Secondary School
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Education to degree level and or suitable educational qualifications
• Good MS Office skills – Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• Excellent teaching/communication skills
Familiarity with the British National Curriculum would be desirable. Candidates must be practicing Christians. Those with post-graduate degrees and/or professional qualifications and demonstrable ability to effectively run an extra-curricular activity within the school will have a distinct advantage
