Capital Oil and Gas Industries Ltd. is a privately owned, wholly Nigerian concern. We are a major player in the importation, storage, distribution,
trading and retailing of oil products.
As a result of diversification and expansion in our business, the company requires the following positions to be filled urgently:
Chief Operating Officer – Ref 001
Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for managing the operations of the company to ensure revenues, profits and return on investment are maximized
- Manage day to day functions of operations
- Responsible for business development and introductions of new product lines and opportunities
- Responsible for execution of projects within cost, time, quality, and safety parameters
- Maintain/improve good public relations with the customers and suppliers
- Monitor contractual obligations (commercial and technical)
- Responsible for implementation and proper compliance
Skills and Qualifications
- A degree in Engineering or related discipline
- Higher degree in a relevant discipline as well as an MBA will be an added advantage
- Onshore oil and gas operations experience
- Hands-on technical skills on vessel operations
- Extensive network of contacts within the industry
- Minimum of 10 years post qualification experience in Downstream Oil & Gas Industry, five of which must be in senior management position
