Job Title: Team Leaders
Job Summary
To lead an operational team in order to meet production performance targets
Duties and Responsibilities
- Amongst other duties, the Team Leaders will respectively:
- Lead production/shift teams to produce outputs at required standards
- Coordinate/monitor process and plant equipment
- Optimize productivity and performance processes
- Optimize team performance (Level 1)
- Perform administrative tasks
- Facilitate team problem solving and decision making
- Manage human resources (Level 1)
Qualifications and Skills Required
The occupant of this position should possess:
- Minimum of BSc in Food Science & Technology, Engineering (Mechanical/ Electrical/ Industrial engineering)
- Minimum of 3 years experience in a related field at a leadership position, preferably in a brewery or FMCG (fast moving consumer goods) environment
- Membership of relevant professional bodies will be an added
Key Competencies and Attributes
- Familiarity with computerized maintenance management systems
- Proven leadership skills
- Good communicator, with effective team-related skills
- Initiative and self-managing
- Attention to detail
- Analytical problem solver
- Deep understanding of maintenance practices
- Good understanding of the principles and practices of manufacturing excellence
