Job Title: Team Leaders

Job Summary
To lead an operational team in order to meet production performance targets

Duties and Responsibilities

• Amongst other duties, the Team Leaders will respectively:


• Lead production/shift teams to produce outputs at required standards


• Coordinate/monitor process and plant equipment


• Optimize productivity and performance processes


• Optimize team performance (Level 1)


• Perform administrative tasks


• Facilitate team problem solving and decision making


• Manage human resources (Level 1)

Qualifications and Skills Required
The occupant of this position should possess:

• Minimum of BSc in Food Science & Technology, Engineering (Mechanical/ Electrical/ Industrial engineering)


• Minimum of 3 years experience in a related field at a leadership position, preferably in a brewery or FMCG (fast moving consumer goods) environment


• Membership of relevant professional bodies will be an added

• Familiarity with computerized maintenance management systems


• Proven leadership skills


• Good communicator, with effective team-related skills


• Initiative and self-managing


• Attention to detail


• Analytical problem solver


• Deep understanding of maintenance practices


• Good understanding of the principles and practices of manufacturing excellence
