Taraba State University, located in Jalingo, is the leading higher educational institution in Taraba State. It was established in 2008 by the Taraba State University Law No. 4; and approved by the National Universities Commission to enhance the opportunity for access to quality university education and to produce skilled and competent graduates in a wide range of disciplines that will contribute to national development.

Requirements
- Candidates must possess a good honours degree in law (LLB, BL) from a recognized University.
- Candidates must also demonstrate a flare of oral and written English being a computer literate is an added advantage.
Conditions of Service
- Successful candidates will be required to assume duty as soon as possible. Conditions of service are similar to those obtainable in Nigerian University system.
