Job Title: Fireman
THE JOB:
- Responding immediately and safely to emergency calls
- Maintaining equipment, assisting in the testing of fire hydrants and checking emergency water supplies
- Undertaking drills and physical training and taking part in training on techniques
QUALIFICATION:
- O’ level certificate
- Certificate in basic fire fighting obtained at state or federal fire training school
THE PERSON:
- Physically fit.
- Demonstrate aptitude for using tools and equipment
- Ability to absorb verbal and written communication
- Basic numeric and literacy ability
EXPERIENCE:
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role.
