Job Title: Inventory/Archive Assistant

  • QUALIFICATION: MINIMUM OF OND IN BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION OR RELATED DISCIPLINE

  • AGE LIMIT: BELOW 35 YEARS


COMPETENCIES AND SKILLS:

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Highly experienced in store keeping and requisition of item

  • Highly organised and ability cope with multiple demands

  • Proficient use of computer and internet facilities

  • Good knowledge of MS office ( Word, Excel, Outlook, Access)

  • Knowledge about Archive administration and management


DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Allocation of consumables to units and staff members

  • Receives and inspects all incoming materials and reconciles with purchase orders; reports, documents and tracks damages and discrepancies on orders received.

  • Takes proper and accurate records using the required programs/facilities

  • Maintains supplies by checking stock to determine inventory levels; anticipating requirements; placing and expediting orders; verifying receipt; stocking items

  • Receives, arrange, preserve and record materials and consumables

  • Record cancelled and damaged items

  • Updates job knowledge by participating in training/educational opportunities

  • Maintains the storehouse and archive records and keeps store(s) and archive areas in neat and orderly manner

  • Any other related assignment to job function
