Job Vacancy for Marketing / Brand Communications Manager

We are a renowned consulting firm which specializes in the human capital development and consulting services to corporate and government agencies, we are currently recruiting and seek a highly qualified candidate to fill this position.

Job Title: Marketing / Brand Communications Manager

Responsibilities:

  • To recommend, plan and deliver an integrated marketing communications strategy that enhances brand equity and assists in achieving company objectives.

  • To plan, develop, implement and measure organization’s marketing, communications and public relations activities, both external and internal, delivering measurable projects and campaigns on time, within budget and to a consistently high quality.

  • To specifically devise innovative strategies and campaigns to support the sales team, in order to generate high quality new sales leads.

  • To develop and implement specific collateral to support sales, marketing, brand development, communications and public relations activities.

  • To coordinate activity at both a strategic and tactical level within all departments in order to ensure marketing and communications ideas and opportunities are maximized.

  • Campaign strategy.

  • To develop and periodically update marketing strategy for all of company’s products and services.

  • To identify and evaluate specific channels that may be used for promotional and marketing purposes.

  • To run effective marketing campaigns which deliver Company’s key messages, USPs and brand collateral to the target channels and industry sectors.

  • To position Cornea as an authority within our specific product areas.

  • To ensure your knowledge of the digital marketing industry is kept up to date and relevant

  • To freely share knowledge, insight, best practice and ideas relevant to the promotion and marketing of the business.

  • To provide writing and editing support for outbound client communication including promotional materials, reports, blogs, emails and newsletters to ensure marketing effectiveness and adherence to brand guidelines.

  • To measure the effectiveness of all marketing and communications campaigns against ROI and specific KPIs.

  • To work collaboratively with a diverse staff team to create and manage cross-organizational, integrated marketing strategies.

  • To act as a key representative/ambassador for our company at relevant events as required.


Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Minimum of B.Sc. in English, Media Studies, Marketing, Communication Studies or Journalism or any equivalent specialism.

  • Minimum of 3 – 5 years’ experience in journalism, public relations or a similar field preferably within a digital media environment.

  • Proven success in writing professional web and marketing copy, with the ability to produce compelling and optimized copy while maintaining brand messaging, persuasiveness and readability.

  • Proven listening, negotiating and influencing skills.

  • Creative thinker with proven campaign experience.

  • Excellent communications skills, with a solid knowledge of English grammar

  • Ability to present ideas in a clear and concise way, both verbally and in writing.

  • Analytic with the ability to interpret information, news, data and research quickly and distil the most important/relevant information to inform unique and innovative new content and creation ideas.

  • Blogging experience within the digital sector.

  • Excellent working knowledge of major social media channels including Face book and Twitter.

  • Proactive and highly organized, with strong time management and planning skills, meticulous

  • Proven ability to meet tight deadlines and remain calm under pressure.

  • Bright, self-motivated and driven.

  • Highly creative and full of ideas.

  • Passionate about driving campaign ideas forward.

  • Analytic and inquisitive, with excellent attention to detail.

  • Innovative and creative, with a concise, precise and effective approach to problem solving.

  • Good at absorbing large amounts of information, with a general hunger for learning.
