Job Title: Systems Administrator / Manager
Responsibilities:
- Manage the operations, implementation of LAN, WAN and Internet related services – ensuring all related service level parameters are defined and met.
- Manage the specification, standardization, installation, maintenance of all computing platforms (desktop, servers, SAN and so on) based on business requirements and IT strategic plan.
- Work with internal and external stakeholders in defining LAN and WAN related SLS and ensuring such SLS parameters are monitored, managed, reported and achieved.
- Manage infrastructure, monitoring and platform security and risk remediation related requirements and processes – ensuring such are defined and documented.
- Manage the provisioning and performance of the voice communications network(s), platforms and devices.
- Assist with the selection and performance management of IT service providers – inclusive of hosting and applications service provider(s), internet and network service provider(s).
- Provide support for other Group IT deliverables and activities – infrastructure and applications – as assigned and directed.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- BSc or MSc in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- One or more IT related certifications in CCNA, CCNP, CCSP, CISSP, ITIL will be an added advantage
- 5 years and above experience in enterprise IP network design, planning, implementation and support - extensive knowledge of LAN/WAN multi-layered routing, switching and security configurations;
- 3 years in a team leadership and managerial position.
- 3 years in managing high performance data center oriented and distributed computing platforms and infrastructure – covering software and hardware.
